Rosemark Farms ltd
Lessee since June 2022
Rosemark Farms Limited is a family owned farming enterprise established in 2003 and jointly directed by Mark and Rosemary Thorne-George. Operating from their base in the Waikato, the company reflects a long-term commitment to sustainable land stewardship and agricultural development. In 2022, Rosemark Farms entered into a five-year lease with Te Hanga South Lands Trust—following the purchase of a 136-hectare dairy unit previously held by the former lessees—signalling a strong intention to invest in, enhance, and care for the whenua. With an option to extend the lease for an additional five years, Rosemark Farms continues to build on its collaborative relationship with the Trust while contributing to the ongoing productivity and wellbeing of the land.
